Found some really nice wool at work, this is a test.
I will probably use it in bags and slippers, it's the kind of wool one would usually use for making carpets, so it is very strong. I'm also curious what this will do in the washingmachine, whether it will felt or not.

Gaat waarschijnlijk verwerkt worden in tassen en sloffen, het is wol die je normaalgesproken voor het maken van tapijten gebruikt, dus dan moet het wel sterk zijn. Eens zien hoe dit zich in de wasmachine houdt en of het dan mooi vervilt.
I also finished a long term project with a little bit of "cheating":
pattern again really simple, make 27 strings of about 2 meter on the knitting dolly.
Assemble this and what you get is a kind of scarf.
Nice thing to make, but it took a loooong time.
Today I bought a knitting mill, within 2 hours the whole thing was finished!
The mill works marvellous, I do have a bit of an aching arm now...
And this is what the result looks like.
I used leftovers from sockwool in different colors, which makes it nice and warm.
Tevens een lange termijn project afgerond vandaag met een beetje "valsspelen":
patroon weer reuzesimpel, punnik (ja, echt!) 27 slierten van 2 meter.
Voeg die samen en je hebt een soort van sjaal.
Best leuk om te doen, maar het duurde wel erg lang.
Vandaag dan een toch maar een punnikmolentje gekocht, binnen 2 uur was ik klaar!
Geweldig ding, doet het als een tierelier!
Wel wat last van mijn arm...
En zo ziet het er uit.
Overigens heb ik restjes sokkenwol gebruikt in allerlei kleuren, zit heerlijk warm.
